Yes, you can try third-party materials like plastisol or other soft thermoplastics. Just note that heating temps and safety may vary. For best results and guaranteed performance, we recommend our SoftGel formula.
We currently offer three levels of hardness: 0A (very soft), 20A (medium), and 40A (firm). You can mix or swap between them depending on your application—from soft lures to cosplay grips.
Yes. We’ll provide full nozzle dimension specs so you can design molds that fit perfectly. You can also use pre-aligned mold case options for convenience.
No—SALTGATOR is not built for rigid plastics. It's optimized for soft, flexible materials. However, you can embed rigid parts into your molds and inject SoftGel around them for hybrid results.
3D printing soft objects is slow and limited in material softness. SALTGATOR allows you to inject ultra-soft to semi-rigid materials quickly, consistently, and with better finish. Plus, our SoftGel is reusable.
Yes. Our sealed chamber keeps everything tidy. After use, the leftover SoftGel cools and solidifies—just pull out the residue as a single piece. No water or chemical cleaning required.
