Return & Refund Policy
This policy applies only to products purchased directly from SALTGATOR's official website (e.g., saltgator.com). Purchases made through Kickstarter or any third-party retailers must follow the return and refund policies of those platforms.
Returns
1. Eligibility for Returns
- The product arrived defective or damaged.
- The received product significantly differs from the description or images provided.
- Incorrect item (e.g., wrong model or version) was delivered.
2. Conditions for Return Requests
- The product must be unused and in its original condition, with all packaging and accessories intact.
- You must submit your return request via our customer support within 14 days of delivery, including the order number, photos (if damaged or defective), and a brief description.
- Once approved, you have another 14 days to ship the product back to us using a traceable shipping method.
3. Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to defects, wrong product, or misrepresentation, SALTGATOR will reimburse your return shipping cost—once proof of shipment is provided.
- For buyer’s remorse or change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and the original shipping fee is non-refundable.
4. Non-Returnable Items
- Consumable items (e.g., calibration kits or single-use components) are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Gifts or bundle set components must be returned in full; otherwise, the refund amount may be reduced proportionally.
Exchanges
Damaged or Lost Shipments
- Do not accept the package if possible and report it to the courier immediately.
- If already accepted, take clear photos of the damage.
- Contact SALTGATOR support with photos and your order details—we’ll assist with the claim and offer a replacement or full refund.
Refunds
1. Processing Timeline
After receiving and inspecting the returned item, SALTGATOR will initiate a refund within 5 business days. The refunded amount should appear on your original payment method within 14–21 calendar days, depending on your financial institution.
